Jurassic Park: The Ride is extremely beloved by fans, but since early 2021, Universal has rumored time and time again that the attraction, and themed land that it resides in, will be closing, and undergo a major retheme into Jurassic World.
In Hollywood, Universal replaced Jurassic Park: The Ride with a Jurassic World themed attraction in 2019, and recently updated it in 2021, where it was received positively by guests. It is unclear whether or not Orlando, Japan, or Singapore, but since early 2021, Universal has been passing around rumors that the Jurassic Park land, as well as its two rides, Jurassic Park: The Ride, and The Flying Dinosaur, will close at the end of the summer in 2024, to undergo a major overhaul and retheme to Jurassic World, opening in time for the 10th anniversary of the summer-blockbuster.
The plans for the Jurassic World makeover go as follows.
For the Visitor's Center, it will be completely redone to make way for the Volcano based visitor's center as seen in Jurassic World.
The Flying Dinosaur will be torn down completely, and be replaced by the VelociCoaster, which was proven successful in Florida's park.
Jurassic Park: The Ride will be drained, have it's boats repainted, have new animatronics, and be rethemed entirely to Jurassic World.
IS THIS WIKI ALIVE OR DEAD
